Pictures of the United 93 Crash Site taken during the America's 911 Ride 2002 - 2003

I apologize for the quality of some of the pictures. They are amatuer. It poured rain almost the entire time during the ride in 2002.

I have always thought that this is one of the saddest parts of the America's 911 ride. You can feel such sorrow from the hand-made memorials and the area looks so lonely. Many people have opposing feelings about the memorial project, but as you can see, it is not a very fitting resting place for heros. The picture of a field of old vending machines was along side of the crash site. Judge for yourself. We haven't been to see the site since 2003. It may have changed since then.

The Americas 911 Ride donated the plaque with the motorcycle border. The pictures are of the presentation and installation of the plaque.
