When Installing on an undocumented, there are two different types Type 1 is a Bike with a specialized Ignition system, like made by Wire Plus, Thunderheart and others. These systems typically have a module that can be opened up and contain a starter relay that can be replaced by either a Digital Guard Dawg DGD-1 or DGD-2 Smart Relay. Type 2 is a Bike that has either a in line Start Relay or No Start relay at all. If there is an in line relay it's a straight replacement, usually with a DGD-1. If there is not currently a Start relay, You will need to use an additional DGD-AD2 Universal Adaptor Harness. *** see "Start Circuit Schematic" for specific install details. |
